What is Southern Escape Room?

It’s the newest form of entertainment sweeping the country. You and your friends are locked in a themed room to solve cryptic puzzles, locate clues and escape the room in 60 minutes. Bring your friends, family, co-workers or a date and experience this exhilarating and exciting new fun in Monroe, LA

Is it scary?

It depends on the room you choose. Some rooms that include zombies or other warnings could be scary. If you have questions concerning our rooms, feel free to email or call us at either location and we will be happy to let you know.

What is the minimum age?

We recommend participants be 13 years or older. If you have younger children and wish for them to join you, please reserve the whole room for your family so that everyone is comfortable. Why? We have designed these games for older teenagers and adults to play and children younger than 13 may not be able to fully understand the room. However anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult in the room.

Do we need to make a reservation?

Yes. Please visit our booking page to make your reservation if you have a party of 10 people or fewer. There you can see the room availability and the time slots. For parties of 11 or more, please call us to discuss your reservation.

Will we play with people outside of our party?

All rooms are private, you will only be playing with the group members you bring.

When should we arrive?

You should arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled experience. If you are running late, please give us a call ahead of time so that we can make arrangements.

Where can we park?

There is a parking lot on the side of our building.

Can claustrophobic people play?

We have had claustrophobic players enjoy the game and have not experienced any issues. Personal experiences may vary depending on the individual’s degree of claustrophobia. If you do have claustrophobia, please inform our staff either before or when you get there to ensure you are comfortable in the room you booked. The rooms can be left at any time during the game for any reason.

How about birthday parties and corporate events?

Our location does not have the space for that, but that does not stop birthday parties or team building events from coming and playing there.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

You can purchase gift certificates through our website. Our room escape games make excellent gifts with which to surprise your family and friends.

What is the cost?

Cost of the game $26 per person.

Can people in wheelchairs play?

Yes. Keep in mind, however, that the game requires players to bend low and reach high. If one of your team members is in a wheelchair, please call us so we can discuss this with you and let you know what we have available.

Can pregnant women play?

We have had many pregnant women come out and enjoy our games. We will provide a chair for resting if needed.

How physical are your room escape games?

There is very little physical activity required. You must be able to walk a few steps, bend down, reach up, push and pull doors, lift objects that weigh less than five pounds and manipulate locks.

Can we make arrangements for private parties?

All Rooms are Private.

When are you open?

We are open Friday through Sunday. Other days and times not on our schedule can be arranged at additional costs. You can call for details 318-537-6068.

How do I reserve a game?

Simply choose the game you want to play and complete the online reservation to guarantee your game for the day and time you want. You can also reserve by telephone at 318-537-6068 Payment is made at the time of making the reservation. A 2 person deposit is required to hold each room reserved through online or through phone.

Who can play?

Our games are designed for a wide variety of ages. Parents should use discretion when bringing young children. Any group with a child or children younger than 17 yrs. old MUST have a responsible, adult in the game with them. Any person who is obviously intoxicated will not be allowed to participate and no refund will be given. Call us for information regarding handicap accessible games. 318-537-6068

Refunds and Reschedules?

Refunds can be done at a $3 per player spot fee. Example: 4 spots paid will be a $12 fee to refund the purchase. We offer refunds of store credit as well without the fee charge. Reschedules are available, call to let us know if you need to reschedule as soon as you are unsure.
